1991 U.K. documentary.<\/strong>  If you don’t know the very strange story of Joe Meek, then you are missing a wild chapter in 1960’s rock ‘n’ roll.  Joe recorded in his flat, stomped his feet in the bathroom for a bass drum sound, challenged the established record industry and created dozens of top hits, including “Telstar” for his band “The Tornadoes”, “Have I The Right” for “The Honeycombs” and many others.  Fantastic rare vintage footage of recording sessions in Joe’s apartment, Screaming Lord Sutch on TV, and early British Rock ‘n’ Roll on TV.  Insightful interviews with Joe and those on the scene in the 1960’s including Lonnie Donnegan, Mickie Most, Jess Conrad, Jonathan King, the Honeycombs and John Leyton.<\/p>\n
