Happening’ 68 was a rock music TV show that aired oN Saturday afternoons.  The show’s hosts were Mark Lindsay and Paul Revere.  Happening ’68 featured guest artists lip-synching their latest hits.<\/p>\n

One regular feature was a garage band contest with celebrity judges.  The show featured music, interviews and topics of interest to teenagers.  In 1969 the show changed its name to Happening.<\/p>\n

Hollywood makeup artist Mike Hancock shows some makeup tips and tricks for a mod makeup style.  Also cool fashions from the Style Faire.  Model “Sheila” models a swimsuit ensemble.  Includes original commercials.<\/p>\n

Paul Revere and the Raiders – Time After Time.  During song, the Monkees carry away the Raiders’ instruments and generally create mayhem.<\/p>\n

Amateur rock and roll garage band contest semi-fianls: from Evansville, IN: The Unpredictables, from Cumberland, MD: The Transactions, and from Salins, CA: The New Miracles.  The judges for the band contest are Dennis Cole, Merilee Rush, and Tommy Roe.<\/p>\n

The Monkees interview Paul Revere and Mark Lindsay and the Riaders and basically the whole thing breaks down into complete chaos!  Also, Happening fashion tips.<\/p>\n

Band Contest Judges are Stefan Arngrim (from TV show “Land of the Giants”), Bridget Hanley & David Soul (both from “Here Comes The Brides”).  Special guest Mickey Rooney is interviewed by members of the teen audience.  Includes original commercials.<\/p>\n
