This title was originally officially released in North America, but has now been long out of print.  It is available at ridiculously high collector’s prices from some retailers.  However, we are pleased that we are now able to offer this import version at a reasonable price.

Daryl Hall and John Oates met and began performing together in the late 1960’s, linked by their shared taste in soul and R&B music.  They would spend the 70’s crafting their blue-eyed soul with such albums as “War Babies”, “Abandoned Luncheonette” and “Bigger Than The Both Of Us”, before becoming one of the top selling duos of all time in the 1980’s.  Captured here are performances from 1976 and 1977, when “Bigger Than The Both Of Us” was climbing the charts on the strength of their first #1 single, “Rich Girl”, which is featured in this program.
