Telephone Hotline features Captain Beefheart speaking to a teenager in the studio audience abou the reason for his group’s (the Magic Band) recent popularity.  A Bathing Beauty picture contest is announced.

The Top-Ten is loaded with ’60s goodness! Number one song this week is, Simon and Garfunkel: “I Am A Rock”.  The Rate-a-Record segment features, Dick Michaels: “Goodbye To Yesterday” and The Robbs: “Race With The Wind”.  The Spotlight Dance features the Ides Of March: “You Wouldn’t Listen”.

The kids in the studio dance to, Paul Revere and the Raiders: “Hungry”.  Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band: “Diddy Wah Diddy”.  The Tijuana Brass: “What Now My Love”.  Includes original commercials.

Josephine Sunday appears in-person and sings “You Won’t Know Even Her Name”.  She’s interviewed and talks about making her own clothes.  It’s announced that former Beatle Pete Best will appear on an upcoming show.
