We provide this single layer 2 disc version for those customers that have very old DVD players that cannot play Dual Layer DVD+R(9) discs. If in doubt, check your owner’s manual for Dual Layer playability. Generally speaking, DVD players manufactured since 2006 will usually play Dual Layer discs.
