Mendips was the childhood home of John Lennon with his Aunt Mimi and Uncle George and composed early songs in front porch and in his bedroom.  20 Forthlin Road is 1950’s terrace house and the former home of the McCartney family, where The Beatles rehearsed and wrote many of their earliest songs.
