U.S. TV special.  An evening party held in Bob Marcucci’s Hollywood mansion and attended by many famous celebrity guests.  Tons of conversation, interviews and musical performances.  Annette Funicello, Frankie Avalon, Jackie DeShannon, Kenny Miller, The Challengers, Trini Lopez, John Ashley, Deborah Walley, Bobby Freeman, Dick Dale, Jan and Dean, April Stevens, Nino Tempo, Shelly Fabares, Paul Peterson, james Stacey, Freddy Cannon, Donna Loren, Wayne Newton, Nick Adams, Connie Stevens.  Many others.  Performing artists include The Channtels, Donna Loren, Annette, Trini Lopez, April Stevens & Nino Tempo, Dick & Dee Dee.  Cools 1960’s show.

Episode from when the Beatles were in Los Angeles in ’64.  Tons of Beatle mentions and footage from Hollywood Bowl.  Contest to win towels, pillow cases, etc, used by the Beatles.  In-person performances by black vocal group The Superbs (dressed in all black leather!), and Ray Peterson plus interviews.  Cool mod-looking teens dance “The Swim” sung by The Daises.  Rate-A-Record segment.  The kids dance to songs by The Beatles, Marvin Gaye, Johnny Rivers, Peter & Gordon and others.  Dick sit with the kids and talks about The Beatles, etc.  Classic TV Episode.

The Donna Reed Show -“The Combo” December 9, 1965 
Jeff’s groovy rock n roll group plays a teen party and a cute babe asks them if they plan to make a record.  Hey, great iea!  The boys scramble to raise money to buy recording equipment.  The group rehearses in Jeff’s garage and their song, “I Want touch of Motown.  (How’d they do that?!)  The group decides to form a record company and sells shares of stock to all the cools kids on campus.  In the end their shipment of 45s gets left out in sun and they all become warped.  They decide to sell them as rock n roll boomerangs!  Paul Petersen, Darryl Richard, Jimmy Hawkins, Gary Waynesmith.  Must see TV!.
