“There were probably around 1500 people there on the night in question.  The band were masterful and Phil seemed to really let himself go on the more moetions tracks like Afterglow.  I managed to get  a place standing in front of Daryl about five feet from the stage.  Those who were lucky enough to be in the front row could almost reach out and play Mike’s bass pedals!  I think even at the time we were aware that it was a privilege to be seeing Genesis in such an intimate setting.  The Victorian interior and chandeliers made it feel more like a private party n a stately home.  “Although I’m far more of an early Genesis / Gabriel fan, this gig lives in my memory as one of the best I’ve ever seen.” – Rememberances by “Dominic”
