The story begins in Manchester where Herman Tulley (lead singer Peter Noone) and his budding pop-swingers yearn for the excitement of London and the chance to win fame and fortune.  Their opportunity arrives when Herman inherits a racing greyhound that romps into first place in the Manchester heat of the national Greyhound derby.  With the winnings, Herman’s Hermits are off to London and a series of hapless misadventures involving Mr. Brown (Stanley Holloway), his pretty daughter (Sarah Caldwell) and a philosophical hobo (Lance Percival).  Relive the fun of the sixties in this lively Allen Klein production.
