Carnival Rock is chock full of Rock ‘N’ Roll, Rock-A-Billy and Rhythm and Blues music. Originally released in 1957, this movie is considered to be one of the first rock and roll cult films.

This film features performances by the Platters, the Shadows, the Blockbusters and a host of other great rock and rollers.

It all takes place in the depths of show business, when a carnival comes to a small town looking for some top musical acts to fill the bill.  That is when things start to become very up-beat, as the rock and roll, rhythm and blues and rock-a-billy music begins to flow.
