From Back Cover:
“Skid Row’s “Roadkill” is a full two hours of Skid Row madness. It starts out with the video “Psycho Love”
in 3D. After that you get Skid Row both on stage and off. It starts with footage of fans coming up on stage
with the Skids and then diving off into the crowd. We then go to a live presentation of “Slave To The Grind”.
After that, you get to take a look at the Skids waiting at the airport…never a dull moment! Somebody runs
up behind Scotti Hill (one of Skid’s guitar players) and pulls down his pants while he’s looking through his
video camera at some tape he’s just shot! When Sebastian Bach (Skid’s vocalist) realizes nobody who
works on the plane speaks English, well, he even asks them if it’s OK to blow up the plane! The entire tape
goes back and forth between the songs performed live around the world and “home video” like the airport
shots. Highlights of the “home video” include a fan trying to get a job as a roadie…at the end of the tour.
Sebastian takes over the microphone at a Burger King (while wearing a Burger King crown). Sebastian
also reads a “counsel” letter to British fans in which Skid Row were told not to sing “Get the F*** Out”
unless they changed the lyrics. If you guessed they sang the song anyway, you guessed right. The other
songs included are “Monkey Business”, “Here I Am”, “Big Guns”, “18 & Life”, “Psycho Therapy” (in which
Rachel Bolan, Skid’s bass player, takes the microphone), “Piece Of Me”, “Mudkicker”, and “Youth Gone
Wild”. There is a nice drum solo by Rob Affuso, Skid’s drummer. There is footage of Sebastian recording
“C’Mon And Love Me” which is on the EP “B-Side Ourselves”. There is also a clip of the Skids “Hanging
With MTV” in which Sebastian sings “Delivering The Goods” with Rob Halford, vocalist for Judas Priest.
You also get the Skids doing “Cold Gin” live with Ace Frehley of KISS playing guitar. If you love Skid
Row then you’ll definitely want to add this video to your collection. You may also want to check out their
other two videos “Oh Say Can You Scream” and “No Frills”. You can also still obtain their albums “Skid
Row”, “Slave To The Grind”, “Subhuman Race” and Sebastian Bach’s solo record “Bring ‘Em Bach Alive.”
