Procol Harum – Rockpalast (1976) plus Bonus

What is there in a name?  Often more than meets the eye!  Procol Harum’s 4th album entitled “Home” was named quite simply thus because Procol’s line-up had just reverted to that of it’s predecessor, the R&B group The Paramounts of it’s release in 1970.  Procol’s latest recuit Chris Copping (Bass and organ) had suggested that his film making brother might produce a documentary about the band.  “The Procol Harum” is a seldom seen film which has been filed in the vaults for over a quarter of a century.  It features unreleased versions of “Whisky Train”, “Piggy Pig Pig”, “Nothing That I Didn’t Know” and “Dead Man’s Dream”, as well as many of their “1960’s standards including “A Whiter Shade Of Pale”.
