Dick Clark’s American Bandstand – 23rd Anniversary TV Special (NTSC DVD-R disc)
$22.00
This was the first of the American Bandstand Anniversary shows. It was less formal than later shows and had the best selection of classic 50’s rock ‘n’ rollers performing live on the show. As this show is from the 1970’s, the artists still look fairly young.
Artists performing are:
Annette
Pat Boone
Chubby Checker
Jimmy Clanton
Dion
Fats Domino
Fabian
Connie Francis
Jackie Wilson
BONUS:
Includes one full length American Bandstand episode from Oct-24-1964 featuring:
Jerry Lee Lewis
Bobby Vinton
Running Length: 107 minutes for both shows combined.
Video Quality: Only adequate, about 7.75. Definitely watchable, but don’t expect Hollywood movie quality.
Aspect Ratio: 4:3
Disc Format: 1 NTSC DVD-R disc.
