These discs are newer technology than regular discs. Generally speaking, DVD players that were built prior to 2006 have a lesser chance of being able to play dual layer DVD+R(9) discs. If in doubt, please check your DVD player to ensure playability.

We regret that we cannot accept a return of a dual layer disc if there is nothing wrong with it, just won’t play on YOUR machine. 

If in doubt, do not buy the dual layer version of the title.  In many cases, we also carry the single layer disc version of the same title.
