DVD Type / Format: 1 Dual Layer NTSC disc, type DVD+R(9).
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING DUAL LAYER DISCS:
These discs are newer technology than regular discs. Generally speaking, DVD players that were built prior to 2006 have a lesser chance of being able to play dual layer DVD+R(9) discs. If in doubt, please check your DVD player to ensure playability.
We regret that we cannot accept a return of a dual layer disc if there is nothing wrong with it, just won’t play on YOUR machine.
If in doubt, do not buy the dual layer version of the title. In many cases, we also carry the single layer disc version of the same title. The single layer version will include the exact same content AND for a slightly lower price. The compromise is that the bit-rate used to encode the disc is lower, allowing more time on a single disc, resulting in slightly lesser quality. This difference is rarely noticeable by most people on most TV sets. It probably WOULD be noticeable on 50 inch TVs or larger.
Note: ALL Blu-Ray players will play DVD+R(9) discs.
