Soundgarden – Motorvision (1992) (NTSC DVD-R disc)

Original price was: $22.00.Current price is: $19.00.

It was the Soundgarden 1994 release “Superunknown” that catapulted the group into superstardom, but it was 1991’s “Badmotorfinger” in which the group found their sound. This video was filmed 2 years before “Superunknown”, back when Soundgarden could still be legitimately called Seattle’s best kept secret. Taken from a performance at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, this video shows the boys in prime form. Matt Camerson is just about the best modern rock drummer there is, providing the rumble that allows Kim Thayil (and occasionally singer Chris Cornell) to lay the heaviest guitars this side of the Misty Mountains. Between the live footage are interview clips, shot by Henry Shepherd (Ben Shepherd’s brother), of the band in their tour van, driving around and offering com- mentary on a number of subjects. Before the first song begins, the band is introduced on stage by a clown, J.P. Patches.
