Teen Town (1965):
Teen Town was a Detroit based music variety show hosted by Robin  Seymour that ran in syndication in the mid-1960s.  In its brief run, the show featured well-known acts like the Temptations, Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, the Supremes, Stevie Wonder and the Parliaments and clips from the show are often used in Motown documentaries.  This amazing episode includes musical performances by the Marvelettes, the Supremes, the Temptations, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and Stevie Wonder.  Host Robin Seymour interviews Barry Gordy about the history of Motown and shows fabulous film footage of behind the scenes at Hisville U.S.A.

Apollo presents Motortown Revue 1963 
The Motortown Revue was the name given to the packkage concert tours of Motown artists in the 1960s.  This early Motown revue shows these artists rough around the edges – before they went to “charm school” and became polised and sophistigated.  Includes Marvin Gaye, the Supremes, Little Stevie Wonder (12 years old!), the Contours, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, the Marvelettes, Mary Wells, The Four Tops, The Temptations and others.  Great 1960’s black soul and R&B revue!

Video Quality:  We would rate the quality as about 7.50 using our website Quality Rating Table. The picture quality is “acceptable”, “reasonably good”, “fair quality”, but still quite watchable and enjoyable to view.  Although this title is below our normal quality standards, it has been included due to it’s rarity and customer demand.
