Happening ’68 was a rock music tv show that aired on Saturday afternoons. The show’s hosts were Mark Lindsay and Paul Revere. Happening ’68 featured guest artists lip-synching their latest hits.
One regular feature was a garage band contest with celebrith judges. The show featured music, interviews and topics of interest to teenagers. In 1969 the show changed it’s name to Happening.

Garage band contest judges are Peter Deuel (formerly of the TV series “Love On A Rooftop”). James Doohan (from “Star Trek”) and Gary Owens (“Laugh-In” announcer). All three are interviewed. They keep calling James “Scotty”. Includes original commercials for Amred Forces Radio and Television and includes a Smothers Brothers segment.

Winning band receives $10,000 in prizes including Vox guitars, Singer portable TV, and a 1968 Pontiac Catalina Station Wagon. Includes original commercials (Cover Girl with Susan Dey).
