Saturday Night Live – Best Music Performances
Many customers over the years have asked why is there not a Saturday Night Live music performances only compilation available.
We are extremely happy to announce that the time has arrived. This amazing 35 disc budget DVD set comprises many of the musical performances from the Saturday Night Live TV show from 1975 to 2012. It also does include a few comedy sketches. Most discs are close to 2 hours long each, for a total musical enjoyment time of close to 70 hours!
These performances were obtained from 3 separate sources, so there is some duplication of performances. As a result, 7 discs are included for FREE, with the remaining 28 discs priced as low as $5.00 per disc, depending on the total size of your order.
Although the set is listed at $175.00, since it is between $120.00-$239.99, the website will automatically deduct a 10% Quantity Discount when checking out, bringing the net price down to $157.50, which is $5.62 per disc for 28 discs, plus the 7 FREE discs. Should your total order be between $240.00-$359.99, you will receive an automatic 15% Quantity Discount, bringing the price per paid disc down to $5.31, plus the 7 FREE discs. Finally, should your total order be $360.00 or more, you will receive the maximum automatic 20% Quantity Discount, bringing the price per paid disc down to $5.00, plus the 7 FREE discs.
NOTE #1: This title and ALL budget DVD titles do not come in cases and do not include DVD artwork. They are shipped in vinyl lined paper sleeves. This title DOES come with a complete listing of all contents, as described in the listing description shown below. Unfortunately, we have very few song listings available for discs 1-30.
NOTE #2: Most artists performed 2, sometimes 3 songs per SNL episode. Since discs 1 to 20 performances are taken from edited re-broadcasts on Comedy Channel and VH1, they usually include only 1 of the songs performed and include the small TV station logo on the bottom right of the screen. Performances on discs 21-30 may or may not include all of the artists performances from that episode and do NOT have any TV logo anywhere on the screen.
NOTE #3: Performances on discs 31-35 are taken from the officially released 5 volume box set “Saturday Night 25 Years Of Music Performances And Sketches”, which we believe is now long out of print. These discs also include several classic comedy sketches in addition to the musical performances. Full song listings and airdates are shown for discs 31-35.
